GhostCry Hill (鬼哭岭) launched on March 24, 2025, a horror puzzle narrative game developed solo by AlenStar GAME. In the weeks following launch, the developer was active — shipping several bug fix patches and a feature update (version 1.06 on May 28, 2025) that added a story mode, difficulty options, chapter skip functionality, and in-game hints. An artbook DLC was released on May 31, 2025. Crucially, in an April 17, 2025 post, the developer explicitly stated that a story DLC to expand the game's narrative was being planned, and that news would arrive "soon." This is the most recent communication about future content. However, the last developer post of any kind dates to May 31, 2025 (the artbook release), and as of June 26, 2026 — more than 12 months later — no story DLC has been announced, released, or further referenced. The developer has gone silent without delivering the promised content or providing any update on its status.
