Go-Kart Racing launched on April 25, 2018 and received a major overhaul update on January 12, 2025, which added a completely reworked graphics pipeline, new AI systems, updated physics, and a new UI — bringing the game's content substantially up to date after seven years on sale. Shortly after, on January 28, 2025, the developer announced and launched a full sequel, Go-Kart Racing 2, as a separate Steam product. Then on October 28, 2025, the developer announced Go-Kart Racing 3, launching November 12, 2025 — also as a separate title. The developer's activity is clearly focused on building new installments in the series rather than adding further content to the original game. No DLC, expansions, or future updates have been announced for this title. The January 2025 patch appears to represent the final significant update to Go-Kart Racing, effectively completing it before the series moved on to sequel releases.
