Goalkeeper Journey launched on June 4, 2026. The following day, on June 5, 2026, the developer shipped Version 1.0 — a substantial update adding multiple new leagues, cups, achievements, and other improvements. Crucially, the developer explicitly stated in that same post: "As evident by the lack of updates, I have moved on to more exciting projects. With this update, the game is now in a finished state." This is a clear, direct developer statement that development is complete. No further content has been announced, and no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The game launched as a free-to-play title and reached its finished state with the Version 1.0 release on June 5, 2026.
