Evaluation

Goblin Camp launched its full 1.0 release on July 12, 2026, concluding an Early Access period that featured a sustained cadence of major content updates. During Early Access, the developer shipped several named major updates — including the Combat Update (September 2024), the Farming Update (November 2024), the Earth Update (February 2025), and a series of feature patches — before arriving at 1.0, which added the sauna building, substantial performance improvements, and native Linux support. In the 1.0 release notes, the developer explicitly stated: "This 1.0 release concludes our Early Access period." This clearly marks the end of the Early Access phase, but does not say development is entirely finished or that no future content will be added — it simply closes that chapter. Notably, the September 2024 roadmap mentioned an "Underworld Update" as one of three planned major updates (alongside the Farming Update and Earth Update that subsequently shipped). There is no post-release confirmation that the Underworld Update was cancelled or delivered; it simply hasn't been mentioned since. Given that the game only launched 3 days ago, it's too early to draw conclusions about whether post-launch support is planned. A bug fix patch (v1.1) was already released on July 14, 2026 — just two days after launch — showing the developer is actively monitoring and responding to the game.
