goblinAmerica entered Early Access on June 17, 2026 and has been actively and frequently updated by its solo developer, Gil Lawson. Since launch, the developer has shipped patches at a very high cadence — multiple feature patches in June and July 2026, a bug fix update in August 2026, and a substantial major content update on October 2, 2026. The July 3, 2026 roadmap post laid out a clear plan: first the "Lawman" update (a polish and story update), then the "Dealey Plaza/White House" update (two new levels), described as the intended format for future content updates going forward. The developer also committed that goblinAmerica would be their full-time focus through to version 1.0. The October 2, 2026 major update — "The Lawman Requests Your Presence" — delivered on the first roadmap item. It introduced a new character, new quests, a new side level, new enemy types, and mechanical improvements. Crucially, the developer stated in this same post that the update "sets the stage for the next chapter" and that they are already working on "the next batch of levels," which they describe as exciting to share. This directly confirms the Dealey Plaza/White House update (and further content) is still in development.
