DREADTOME is a short Action-Adventure FPS made by a team of third-year university students at Breda University of Applied Sciences. It launched on June 12, 2025 as a free-to-play game. After launch, the team shipped one feature update on June 23, 2025 (version 1.1), adding Steam achievements, difficulty modes, Rat Mode, and AI improvements. A final update followed on August 30, 2025 (version 1.2), delivering difficulty rebalancing, performance improvements, and expanded Rat Mode content. In that same post, the developers explicitly stated: "Our student project has wrapped up - the game will no longer receive any updates." The game is complete as of August 30, 2025.
