Evaluation

Gone Home launched on August 15, 2013 as a self-contained narrative exploration game. It shipped with no post-launch content plans and received only one DLC — a soundtrack release on July 14, 2014. After that, Fullbright's attention shifted to their next full game, Tacoma, which launched in August 2017. Following Tacoma's release, the developer revisited Gone Home to carry over improvements from the console version: official localization for eight languages, Steam Achievements, Cloud Saves, and a Unity engine upgrade (February 2018), followed by a minor texture bugfix patch (April 2018) and a further Unity engine update for macOS compatibility (November 2019). These were maintenance and feature parity patches, not new content. The most recent Gone Home-specific news was a 10th anniversary vinyl soundtrack announcement in November 2023 — a merchandise item, not a content update. Since then, Fullbright has been actively working on other projects: a short horror game called Toilet Spiders (released into Early Access in October 2024 and completed in November 2024), and a newly announced upcoming title, Springs, Eternal (announced December 2025 for a 2026 release). None of these announcements reference any additional content for Gone Home. Gone Home was designed and shipped as a complete, finite narrative experience. There is no outstanding content commitment, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statement suggesting anything further is planned for the game. It has been complete since its original release date.
Evidence
The only DLC ever released is the Gone Home Soundtrack, released July 14, 2014. No unreleased DLC exists.
