Goonya Monster

Goonya Monster launched on December 4, 2022 as a 3v1 party game and received a substantial stream of post-launch content through a series of numbered "Episodes," each adding new stages, monsters, weapons, story content, and skins. This episodic content ran from launch through Episode 6, which shipped on February 1, 2024 and was explicitly described by the developer as the conclusion of the story that had been unfolding for about a year. The final paid DLC — a Battle Pass titled "Eternal Pass" — released on April 30, 2024, and all 34 DLC items listed on the store are now released with none remaining outstanding. Following the conclusion of Episode 6 and the Battle Pass, developer communications shifted away from new game content. A Unity security vulnerability patch was applied on October 10, 2025 — a maintenance update with no new content. The most recent significant developer activity (April 2026) concerns four spin-off titles launching as separate Steam games, not new content for Goonya Monster itself. With the story concluded at Episode 6, all DLC released, and no announcements of further content for the base game, Goonya Monster appears to have reached the end of its planned content cycle. The April 2026 spin-off launch is an expansion of the franchise into new standalone products rather than continued development of this title.
