Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines launched on September 12, 2024, and Medallion Games has continued to update it meaningfully since release. Shortly after launch, they pushed a substantial bug-fix patch on September 18, 2024. On August 8, 2025, they shipped a notable feature update adding a full level editor — allowing players to create, share, and explore custom levels — alongside a franchise-wide Steam sale. An announcement previewing the level editor was posted on July 25, 2025. On February 24, 2026, the developer released the "2025 Update" for Nintendo Switch, porting all improvements and bug fixes from the Steam version to Switch players. The most recent developer communication is from February 24, 2026. The only DLC listed is the game's soundtrack, which was released on September 27, 2024. No future content has been explicitly announced, and no roadmap or unshipped DLC exists. However, the developer has demonstrably kept the game alive with feature additions well beyond launch, and the most recent update landed just four months before today's date of June 21, 2026. The developer has not signaled that updates are finished.
