Grapple Dog

Grapple Dog launched on February 10, 2022 as a complete, self-contained 2D platformer with 6 worlds and 33 levels. Following launch, the developer shipped two polish patches: version 1.1.0 on March 8, 2022 (adding controller/keyboard remapping and boss replay functionality) and version 2.0.0 on June 7, 2022 (adding Steam cloud saves and a large round of optimizations and bug fixes). No further content updates to the base game have been made since June 2022. The only DLC released is a soundtrack pack (February 16, 2022), which is supplementary content rather than a game expansion. The developer's attention shifted entirely to a sequel, Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines, which was announced in September 2023, had playtests in May and August 2024, and launched on September 12, 2024. A level editor for the sequel launched on August 8, 2025. None of these developments represent new content for the original Grapple Dog.
