Grapples Galore

Grapples Galore launched out of Early Access on February 7, 2025 with a massive update adding new maps, modes, weapons, and visual improvements. Alongside that update, the developer made a clear statement about the game's future: "this will likely be the last big content update I ever release for Grapples Galore... I think I need to finally wrap up development and move on to new projects." This is a direct, explicit developer statement that major content development is wrapping up. The only post-launch activity since then has been a minor bug fix patch on February 19, 2025 addressing small issues introduced at launch — consistent with wrapping up rather than continuing development. All five DLC packs (cosmetic items) listed on the store have been released, with the two most recent shipping alongside the 1.0 launch. There is no unannounced content, no roadmap, and no subsequent developer communication contradicting the wrap-up statement. The game launched as a free-to-play title and is still available to download and play.
