Grey Instinct

Grey Instinct is a free-to-play episodic cyberpunk point-and-click adventure currently in Early Access. Part 1 (Chapters 1 and 2) is available for free, with Part 2 (containing more chapters and significantly more content) announced as paid upcoming content. Part 2 has its own Steam listing and appears as an unreleased DLC, confirming the developer's public commitment to ship it. In December 2022, the developer (then called Angry Bunny, now Plain Cheeseburger Games) announced the Part 2 "Coming Soon" page on Steam. On June 10, 2023, they posted a detailed progress update acknowledging that Part 2 had been delayed — originally targeted for mid-2023, it was pushed to sometime in 2024. The post cited underestimated production scope, unexpected personal life events, and a trademark dispute with Rovio Entertainment that forced a studio name change. Importantly, the developer explicitly reassured players that Part 2 was still in development and committed to finishing it. However, that June 10, 2023 post is the last official communication from the developer. Part 2 was not released in 2024, and as of June 2026, there has been no update, no further delay announcement, and no new target date. This extended silence — over three years since the last post and well past the promised 2024 release window — makes it impossible to confirm that development is still actively progressing.
