Evaluation
Gunnheim launched out of Early Access on October 16, 2015, with the developer noting that version 1.0 contained all planned content but that further updates were intended. True to that statement, a content update followed on November 25, 2015 (v1.1.0.0), adding two new levels and four new weapons. The last recorded developer communication was a bug fix patch on April 27, 2016 (v1.1.1.0). No updates of any kind have been posted since that date — nearly a decade of silence as of June 2026. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced roadmaps or future content, no season pass or live service structure, and no developer posts referencing ongoing plans after the April 2016 patch. The game shipped as a complete product and received one post-launch content update before development activity ceased entirely. All content that was planned and delivered is now in the game.
Evidence
Bug fix patch v1.1.1.0 — the last recorded developer communication. No updates of any kind have followed.
Post-launch content update v1.1.0.0 ships two new levels and four new weapons, fulfilling the developer's stated intent to continue updating.
