Evaluation
GUNVOLT RECORDS Cychronicle launched on February 15, 2024 as a rhythm game with 15 base tracks. The developer immediately followed launch with a rapid weekly DLC rollout: seven song packs were released one per week from February 22 through April 4, 2024, each adding four songs. All seven song packs are now released, and no DLC remains unreleased in the store listing.
Notably, the store description explicitly references "future planned DLC" as part of the game's music player feature — but this language was written at or before launch, and the seven subsequent DLC packs represent a complete and coherent rollout that plausibly fulfills that promise. The developer's last communication of any kind was the Song Pack 7 announcement on April 4, 2024. Since that date — over two years ago as of June 2026 — there have been no further announcements, patches, roadmaps, or developer posts of any kind.
The DLC release pattern was extremely compressed (weekly drops over seven weeks), suggesting it was a planned, finite rollout rather than an ongoing content program. With all listed DLC shipped, no unreleased content on the store, and complete developer silence since April 4, 2024, the game appears to have concluded its planned content cycle.
Evidence
Song Pack 7 released — the seventh and final DLC pack in the series. No further content announced. This is also the last developer communication of any kind.
All 7 DLC song packs are marked as released, with no unreleased DLC remaining in the store listing.

■POINT 1: A new rhythm experience where you are in sync with the Muses!
The notes flowing from the top of the screen come in various types: push the buttons to Tap Notes and Hold Notes, and move the sticks with Flick Notes and Slide Notes.
When you're flicking in 8 different directions and sliding in arcs on the analog sticks, your movements will synchronize with the dancing divas in the background, just as if you were dancing along with them.
■POINT 2: Including a sound player with full length vocals from the Muses!
All 15 included tracks and future planned DLC are selected from the vast library of acclaimed vocal tracks from the Gunvolt series, including tracks used in the series 5 games, CD-only releases, and Gunvolt animated feature. Listen to any of the music included in the game freely in the in-game music player.
Use the included repeat and playlist functions to create your own listening mix!
■POINT 3: The Muses add their charm and elegance!
The Muses, Lumen and Lola, alongside The Djinn, Luxia, dance with enchanting movement and provide their voices for a complete experience.
Should repeated misses cause you to fail a song, their Anthem abilities will revive your run, allowing players of any skill level to enjoy the rhythm gameplay without worry.
Cast
The Muse, Lumen: Megu Sakuragawa
The Muse, Lola: Mayu Mineda
The Djinn, Luxia: Rico Sasaki
■POINT 4: Featuring scenes from throughout the series for a nostalgic musical journey!
In addition to the music videos of the songstresses, songs can be played featuring gameplay footage and scenes from the Azure Striker Gunvolt series.
Different songs will feature various gameplay videos, giving series fans a nostalgic look at past experiences, and new fans a look into the games where the enchanting singers made their debuts.
