Gym Simulator entered Steam Early Access on November 17, 2018. The developer shipped two feature updates during the following months: one in January 2019 adding VR support and bug fixes, and a larger update on July 16, 2019 that added locker rooms, city scenes, fights, shops, and other content. Since that July 2019 post, there have been no further developer communications of any kind — no updates, no announcements, no roadmap, and no statement about the game's future or a planned 1.0 release. The game remains listed as Early Access on Steam with no purchase restrictions, but the developer has been silent since July 16, 2019. With nearly 7 years of silence and no graduation to a full release, it is unclear whether development is continuing or has been quietly abandoned.
