Hacker Simulator: Free Trial is a free, limited demo version of the full Hacker Simulator game, giving access to the tutorial and early contracts only. It launched on February 15, 2022 as a standalone trial — it is not a game undergoing active development in its own right, but rather a permanent promotional entry point to the paid full version.
The developer shipped a feature patch on July 18, 2023 (addressing longstanding bugs, reworking the UI, and adding quality-of-life features) and a small hotfix on August 7, 2023. The August 7, 2023 post notably mentions the developer is now focused primarily on a different title (Fast Food Simulator), with only limited time available for Hacker Simulator. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 7, 2023.
Because this is a free trial/demo by design, it has a fixed and intentionally limited scope — it is not a product meant to receive ongoing content expansions. The developer has not announced any future updates to the trial, and the last communication is from August 7, 2023. The trial functions as intended: a static sampler of the full game's content.

With Hacker Simulator, I wanted to bring a fun and immersive experience on the theme of hacking so that you can have a better vision of some of its aspects (being alone, I certainly can't cover all of them).
In order to keep your business running, you need to stay anonymous regularly by hiding behind various wifi networks. To do this, you will learn how to use the famous suite of tools called Aircrack-ng!
A lot of research has been done to bring you a simplified and enjoyable version of real-life hacking methods such as bruteforce, exploits, phishing and more!
You will learn a lot during your adventure, but you will also learn that hacking is not without risk. The networks you will explore will be secured and the wifi connections will be monitored, requiring a high level of attention.
