Hardware Engineers launched out of Early Access on April 22, 2019, when the developer officially released version 1.0.1 and removed the Early Access tag. In the release announcement (NEWS-1), the developer explained that exiting Early Access meant the core gameplay was finalized, and that future updates would be "larger and better but less frequent." While the developer noted at the time that improvements and new features would continue to come, the news archive (50 posts covering the full history) shows no major content releases after the April 2019 launch. All 13 feature patches and 32 bug fixes in the news record date from the Early Access period leading up to release. The last developer communication on record is from April 20, 2019 — over seven years before today's date of June 27, 2026. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no post-launch update activity.
