HEARTSHOT launched into Early Access on March 4, 2024 with Part 1 of its story campaign. At launch, the developer explicitly promised that Parts 2 and 3 of the campaign would be delivered as free updates within the following year — meaning by approximately March 2025. The game received a burst of updates in the weeks after launch, culminating in a major patch on April 4, 2024 that added a new epilogue to Part 1 specifically designed to tease Part 2. The last developer communication of any kind was on April 17, 2024.
Since April 17, 2024, the developer has gone completely silent. No updates, no announcements, and no acknowledgment of the promised campaign parts have appeared. The self-imposed delivery window for Parts 2 and 3 passed in early 2025 without any communication. As of June 18, 2026, it has been over 14 months since the last developer post, and the two promised campaign parts that would complete the game's story remain undelivered. The game remains in Early Access with no indication of when — or whether — the full campaign will be finished.
