Evaluation
Heist Kitty launched on June 13, 2023 and has been receiving consistent updates ever since. In the months following launch, the developer delivered on a publicly posted roadmap: the "Cats in Hats" update shipped on September 1, 2023, and the "Fast and Furriest" update — featuring new story content, race tracks, and a new playable cat — arrived on December 8, 2023. Beyond those major content drops, the team has continued shipping feature updates through 2024 and 2025: new cat models and vehicle improvements arrived on October 8, 2024, a new gliding ability and bug spawning system on January 15, 2025, and most recently a patch on November 27, 2025 adding reactive human NPCs and playable arcade games. The developer has not announced the conclusion of post-launch support, nor have they published a roadmap outlining specific upcoming content. However, the pattern of regular, meaningful updates across nearly two and a half years — with no indication of winding down — points to a game that continues to receive active development attention. The most recent update on November 27, 2025 is approximately seven months prior to today's date (June 22, 2026), which is somewhat beyond the typical gap between updates but not dramatically so given the irregular cadence. No future content has been announced, but the developer has also made no statement that development is complete.
