The Crew™ 2

The Crew 2 is a live-service racing game that has been receiving seasonal content updates continuously since its June 2018 launch. The store description explicitly describes the game's ongoing structure: "dozens of new game modes, tracks, vehicles, events, and more added every season." The game has shipped at least 14 major content releases across nine seasons, with content arriving roughly every few months since launch. In September 2024, the developer publicly committed to The Crew 2's future, stating they were "actively exploring different solutions" to ensure long-term access — specifically addressing offline play. This commitment was delivered: in October 2025, a major Hybrid Mode launched, allowing players to switch between online and offline gameplay. In April 2026, the developer followed up with a further Hybrid Mode update adding offline livery creation, one of the most-requested community features. Three new Summit Pack DLCs (American, European, and Japanese) were released on April 22, 2026 — the most recent paid content additions. The developer has not made any statements indicating the game's seasonal content cycle is ending.
