Heroes & Generals has been permanently shut down. The developer, TLM Games, announced on January 31, 2023 that they were sunsetting the game to pivot toward a sequel — Heroes & Generals 2: The Next War — built on Unreal Engine 5, which they attempted to fund via Kickstarter. On April 3, 2023, they confirmed the official shutdown date: May 25, 2023 at 11:59PM UTC. A final "Gold Rush" event ran from May 2 through shutdown, giving all players unlimited in-game gold as a farewell gesture. The game's servers went offline on May 25, 2023, and the game is no longer available for purchase on Steam. The original Heroes & Generals is complete and closed.

65+ Weapons, 70+ vehicles and aircraft are available to add to your arsenal. If that’s not enough, you can always use your wrench to humiliate the enemy!
