Heroes of Hammerwatch

Heroes of Hammerwatch launched on March 1, 2018 and received three paid DLC expansions: Pyramid of Prophecy (March 13, 2019), Witch Hunter (June 19, 2019), and Moon Temple (February 19, 2020). All three DLC packs are released, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The Moon Temple release in February 2020 was the last major content addition to the game. Since then, the developer's attention has clearly shifted to the broader Hammerwatch franchise — Hammerwatch II launched in August 2023, and Heroes of Hammerwatch II launched in January 2025. The news posts for this game since 2020 have consisted entirely of maintenance patches and bug fixes, with the April 2024 patch (version 113) explicitly described as a technical improvement to bring engine updates from Hammerwatch 2 over to this game — not new content. The November 2024 patch (version 115) similarly contained only minor bug fixes and multiplayer adjustments. The developer has not announced any new content for Heroes of Hammerwatch, and their communications since 2020 consistently point players toward sequel titles rather than new additions to this game. With all DLC released, no outstanding commitments, and a studio that has moved on to successor projects, the game's content is complete as of the Moon Temple DLC release on February 19, 2020.
