Stolen Realm Survivors launched on May 7, 2026, developed by Burst2Flame Games — a three-person studio that announced in November 2025 they were concentrating all their resources on this game. On launch day (May 7, 2026), the developer posted an important clarification: their original trailer had shown environments and features not yet available in the release version. They explicitly committed that this content "is still planned for future free updates," and named a first major post-launch update coming "within the next month." That promise was kept ahead of schedule: on June 4, 2026, the developer shipped the Act IV update (v1.15), adding the Frostwrought Fortress area, the frost dragon boss Chillgrave, three new weapons, two new support abilities, and a major overhaul to the progression and build systems. This was followed by feature patches on June 10 (v1.16) and June 17 (v1.17), and a hotfix on June 30, 2026 (v1.18) — the most recent developer communication as of today's date (August 19, 2026).
