Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle

Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle launched on June 29, 2024 as a free-to-play base game featuring Paris City content, with six city-themed DLC packs available from day one (London, Rome, Spooky Town, Santa's Realm, Berlin, and New York). All six DLC are released with no unreleased entries currently listed on the store. Since launch, Nukearts Studio has continued actively expanding the broader Hidden Cats series with new standalone entries that also feed content into this game. The studio released Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro on June 12, 2025, Hidden Cats in Istanbul on September 8, 2025, and Hidden Cats in Christmas on November 28, 2025. This establishes a clear and sustained release cadence of roughly every 2–3 months. The store description explicitly advertises that more cities — London, New York, Rome, Berlin, "and more" — await, reinforcing the studio's ongoing expansion plans. The studio has also kept the base Jigsaw Puzzle game actively maintained, issuing a feature patch in August 2024 (adding colorblind mode, dark mode, and other improvements), a bug fix in September 2024, and a combined security and bug-fix update in October 2025. The most recent developer communication on record is the November 28, 2025 release of Hidden Cats in Christmas. As of today (September 24, 2026), approximately ten months have passed since that last post — slightly beyond the established 2–3 month cadence, but this is the first time the studio has been quiet this long, and there is no closure announcement. The historical pattern across the series is consistent enough that this silence does not yet indicate development has concluded. No announcement of a final update or end to the series has been made.
