Sudocats launched on March 14, 2022 and received a healthy stream of updates in its first year: a free DLC (Sudocats Paper, April 11, 2022), a major 2.0 content update (April 18, 2022), feature patches adding auto-save, new languages, daily challenges, and trading cards through late 2022. On March 14, 2023 (the game's one-year anniversary), the developer posted an explicit statement confirming that more content was coming — specifically, an update planned for Q3 2023. That update arrived on October 4, 2023, delivering the Random Puzzle Mode (a frequently requested feature). The October 4 post also announced a new game from the studio, suggesting the team's focus had shifted to new projects. Since October 4, 2023, there have been no further developer communications about Sudocats. The Q3 2023 update the developer promised has been delivered, fulfilling the outstanding commitment made on the anniversary post. No further content has been announced or hinted at since then. All DLC (the single Sudocats Paper release) is shipped. The developer's silence since October 2023 is consistent with a game that has reached the end of its planned post-launch support — the studio appears to have moved on to other titles, including Sticker Kittens, which was announced alongside the final Sudocats update.
