Hidden Cats in Tokyo

Hidden Cats in Tokyo launched on December 12, 2024 as a complete hidden object game featuring 15 levels, over 1,400 hidden cats, and nearly 1,750 total hidden objects. Two DLC items shipped around launch — a printable PDF coloring book (December 9, 2024) and a soundtrack (December 18, 2024) — and both are released. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store. Post-launch, Nukearts Studio continued to patch the game through early 2025, adding quality-of-life features such as level skipping, new language support, a reworked camera system, and Steam trading cards (March 7, 2025), as well as a Unity security update (October 10, 2025). These are improvements to the existing game, not new content expansions. Importantly, the developer's subsequent news posts — announcing Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro (June 2025), Hidden Cats in Istanbul (September 2025), and Hidden Cats in Christmas (November 2025) — all refer to entirely separate games in the Hidden Cats series, not additional content for Hidden Cats in Tokyo. The studio has moved on to building new entries in its franchise rather than expanding the Tokyo title further. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content listed, and no developer communications announcing future additions to Hidden Cats in Tokyo specifically, the game is complete as of December 18, 2024 (the date the last DLC shipped).
