Hidden Through Time

Hidden Through Time launched on March 12, 2020 and received five paid DLC packs over its post-launch life: Viking Tales (May 15, 2020), Legends of Japan (September 10, 2020), Road to Rome (April 22, 2021), and then Aztec Rituals and Pirate Treasures released simultaneously on July 21, 2022. All five DLC packs are now released, and no additional DLC has been listed on the store. The developer's most recent communications about this game are promotional — announcing and launching a sequel series. In October 2023, Rogueside launched Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, and in August 2024 they launched Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery. These posts reference the original game as part of the franchise but contain no announcements of new content for the original Hidden Through Time. The DLC release pattern for the original game shows a clear trajectory that concluded in July 2022, and no developer post since then has indicated further content is planned for this title. The studio's energy has visibly shifted to the sequel series. The last content release for Hidden Through Time was the dual Aztec Rituals and Pirate Treasures drop on July 21, 2022, and that represents the natural conclusion of the game's DLC run.
