Hide and Seek launched on November 12, 2021 and received a series of updates in its early life. The developer shipped three notable content updates: a new "Diamond" map on March 13, 2021 (during pre-release development), a Halloween-themed map overhaul on October 26, 2021, and a new Hospital map on May 15, 2022.
