HINGE VR

HINGE VR launched on November 28, 2020 as a psychological horror VR adventure set in an abandoned skyscraper. Following launch, the developer (Arcadia) was quite active through mid-2021, shipping several substantial updates that added new endings, monsters, localization options (Russian, Spanish, Chinese), gameplay systems like a notebook/hints system, and performance improvements. The most recent update to HINGE was on July 1, 2021. After mid-2021, Arcadia's communications shifted entirely toward a new game — REQUISITION VR — which was announced in November 2021 and entered Steam Early Access in February 2022. Subsequent news posts from Arcadia (through June 2022) are entirely about REQUISITION, with no further mention of planned content or updates for HINGE. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap or announced future content for HINGE, and no developer statement indicating ongoing work on the game. The studio's attention moved fully to their next project. The last HINGE update was on July 1, 2021, and the last any developer communication referenced HINGE at all was around that same period. Given that nearly five years have elapsed since the last update with no signals of returning development, HINGE appears to have shipped as a complete product with its post-launch update cycle now concluded.
