Evaluation
Ho-Ho-Home Invasion is a free festive stealth micro-game by Whitepot Studios, released on December 15, 2020. The game launched with five house layouts and has received updates each December since then, treating it as a seasonal project the studio revisits annually.
The most significant content update was the "REGIFTED" update on December 21, 2021, which added two new levels (bringing the total to seven), a new Santa model, a new robot family, leaderboards, and Tilt Five hardware compatibility. This is the last time new gameplay content was added to the game. The December 2022 update added a lives/difficulty system — a meaningful quality-of-life feature — but no new levels. The December 2025 update replaced licensed music with original tracks, and an October 2025 patch addressed a Unity security vulnerability. Both of these are maintenance-level changes rather than content additions.
The game's store description references exactly seven house layouts, consistent with the post-REGIFTED state. All eight DLC items listed are "Support the Developer" tip-jar DLC (content-free purchases released at launch to allow players to donate), not gameplay content. No unreleased DLC exists, and the developer has made no announcements of upcoming content.
The pattern of annual small patches — focused on maintenance, polish, and compatibility rather than new gameplay — suggests Whitepot Studios keeps the game alive as a seasonal curiosity without actively developing new content for it. The last gameplay content shipped on December 21, 2021.

About this game
Ho-Ho-Home Invasion is a free festive stealth micro-game that we definitely didn't consider calling "Santa Game Solid". Help Santa enter houses, deliver presents, and leave - all without being seen or detected by the automated robots his elves have made to help him train.
ELF-MADE STEALTH TRAINING WAREHOUSE
The year was 2020, and due to social distancing requirements, Santa couldn't undertake his normal training. Thankfully, his elves crafted a fully automated Santa training area in a disused warehouse - with lots of "houses" for Santa to sneak his way through. Who knew this would still be useful for years to come?! Help Santa complete his training ahead of the Christmas period, by sneaking through all seven house layouts to deliver presents in record time.
YOU BETTER WATCH OUT
Make your way through fake houses, past fake robot residents, and place some fake presents. Be sure to:
- Tiptoe to be quiet
- Avoid training robots
- Place presents
- Safely escape the house
- Be extra stealthy
TRAINING ROBOTS
Make sure you avoid:
- Watchers - tiptoe past them when their head is buried in a book
- Sleepers - quietly place presents in the stockings at the foot of their bed
- And Patrollers - wait until their back is turned before making a run for it!
