Scrap Garden launched on May 6, 2016 as a complete puzzle platformer. Following launch, the developer shipped a free prequel episode called "The Day Before" on October 8, 2016, and released a series of feature and bug-fix patches through April 4, 2017. The April 4, 2017 update (v1.2.6) was the last developer communication of any kind on this game's Steam page.
The developer's subsequent activity has been focused entirely on a different game — Time Loader — with posts in January and February 2021 promoting that project. There has been no mention of new content, roadmaps, or further updates for Scrap Garden since April 2017. The store description describes a self-contained story with a defined scope (6 locations, a complete narrative), with no language suggesting ongoing or planned content additions.
With no unreleased DLC, no outstanding developer commitments, and the last game-specific update dating back to April 4, 2017, Scrap Garden launched and concluded as a finished product. Anyone waiting for all content would have found the game complete by April 2017.
