Hollow Survivors launched its full 1.0 version on April 10, 2025. Since launch, developer Danny Deer shipped three meaningful updates: an improvement patch on April 21, 2025; a feature update adding 10 new card upgrades on May 24, 2025; and the largest post-launch update on August 16, 2025, which doubled the total card upgrades, added three new difficulty levels, introduced new in-run structures, and added an in-run save system. This established a post-launch update cadence of roughly every 1–3 months. The last developer communication was the August 16, 2025 update. As of October 1, 2026 — over 13 months since that post — the developer has been silent well beyond the 1–3 month cadence observed after launch. No statement has declared development complete, but no new content has been announced or shipped, and there are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. With silence now far exceeding the historical update window and no outstanding commitments visible, the game appears to have settled into a complete state, even without a formal "final update" declaration. No studio distress signals exist, but equally there are no signs of ongoing development activity.
