Holy Purge: Exorcist launched on February 15, 2022 as a co-op horror game with two maps. The developer, a small two-person team, has continued adding free content since launch. A major third map, Bible Camp, was released on June 1, 2023. The developer has also held annual Halloween events (October 2022, 2023, and 2025) with seasonal decorations, costumes, and achievements. A fourth map — the Orphanage — has been in development since at least October 2023. A public beta was held in December 2023 for community feedback. However, the map was not finished at that point, with story cinematics, achievements, localization, and a final boss still missing. As of the Halloween update on October 31, 2025, the developer confirmed that Orphanage map work is still ongoing, and explicitly tied its release to reaching 200 positive reviews (the game had 246 reviews as of this assessment, but the review score split is not confirmed to have crossed the threshold they set). The last developer communication was on October 31, 2025. As of June 22, 2026 — nearly 8 months later — there have been no further updates, patch notes, or announcements. Given the small team size, the review-gating of the Orphanage map, and the extended silence since October 2025, it is uncertain whether the Orphanage map is still being actively developed or when it might ship.

EXORCIST MAP

Perform an exorcism on a woman possessed by a demon.Find demonic spirits lurking within a house. Use items to banish these spirits and cleanse the house to weaken the grip on a possessed woman.
