NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain

NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain launched in full on April 30, 2025, having graduated through a demo and Early Access period. After launch, Toydium maintained an active update schedule: new yokai, new stages, an Extra Boss system, a solo-play story tutorial, a Yokai Stamp Book reward system, AI companion NPCs, and cross-platform play with Nintendo Switch were all added across a series of major updates running from February through August 2025. A feature patch adding a Block mechanic shipped on October 1, 2025. Throughout this period the developer consistently stated their intent to keep improving the game — a formal roadmap was published on June 4, 2025, and the August 27, 2025 update post reiterated ongoing commitment. However, the October 1, 2025 post is the last developer communication on record. As of October 8, 2026, that represents over 12 months of complete silence, which is well beyond the 1–3 month cadence the developer had established. The June 2025 roadmap items appear to have been fulfilled by the August 2025 update (new boss, solo tutorial, stamp system, Switch cross-play), but no new roadmap or forward-looking communication has followed. No "final update" or closure statement has been made, and no new content has been announced or listed. The extended silence without explanation makes it unclear whether development is continuing or has quietly wound down.
