Horny Warp launched on February 17, 2023. Shortly after release, the developer announced a substantial free update including eight new scenes, eighteen static images, a new character, and New Game+ content. This has been an outstanding promise for over two years. Progress on the update stalled repeatedly because the team shifted focus to developing their second game, "Girls, I Just Want to Get PAID!" On September 25, 2025, the developer reaffirmed the update was still planned and that some artwork and concept work was already complete. On October 13, 2025, they shared a preview of one of the new scenes (Bunny's fourth scene), confirming partial content creation. On November 20, 2025, following the launch of their second game, the developer stated they could now return to working on the Horny Warp update full-time, and promised upcoming devlogs with real progress. However, no further posts have appeared since November 20, 2025 — over seven months ago as of today, June 23, 2026. The developer had been maintaining irregular but present communication, and the November post set an expectation of imminent devlogs that have not materialized. The free update remains unshipped, with no release date or window ever provided. While the developer's intent appears genuine and some content has been created, the extended silence since their most recent commitment creates real uncertainty about when or whether this update will arrive.
