Evaluation
On October 9, 2025, the developer Foxie Games announced that the Steam version of Horse Riding Tales was being retired. They stated that the Steam version had fallen behind their mobile and newer PC releases, and that maintaining multiple platforms had become too difficult. As of that announcement date, the game was immediately removed from purchase on Steam. Servers were kept online through January 10, 2026 to allow players to migrate to the new Google Play Games for PC version, after which the Steam version became fully inaccessible. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam, and the developer has directed all PC players to a separate platform going forward.
