House

HOUSE launched on October 30, 2020 and received four major free content updates over its first year and a half, culminating in Patch 1.5 "Melodies" on January 16, 2022, which added a second playable character and a new story chapter. In a developer post on March 29, 2022, Bark Bark Games stated: "With the release of 1.5, we have begun to wind down development on HOUSE and start work on our next project." This was a clear signal that content development on the original game was complete. The sequel, House 2, launched on August 28, 2026. A developer post on August 30, 2026 announced its release and noted that "big updates" are planned — but those updates are for House 2, not the original game. A follow-up post on September 1, 2026 mentions ongoing optimization and bug fixes for House 2 as well. For the original HOUSE, activity since March 2022 has been limited to maintenance: a patch on August 9, 2026 ported the game to the new engine primarily to resolve long-standing crash issues, explicitly framed as preparation for House 2's launch rather than new content for House 1. No new content for the original game has been announced or suggested since the developer's wind-down statement in March 2022. The game is a complete, finished product.
