Vapour: Part 1 launched on July 3, 2015 and received a series of patch updates through late 2016 addressing performance, bug fixes, and minor feature additions such as controller support and an easy difficulty mode. The most recent developer communication was a Halloween bug fix update posted on October 31, 2016 — nearly a decade ago with no posts since. The game was explicitly framed at launch as "Part 1" of a multi-part series, and in October 2016 the developer announced a Steam Greenlight campaign for Vapour 2. However, no further updates to Part 1 or news about Vapour 2 have appeared since October 31, 2016. The Greenlight campaign for a sequel does not represent unshipped content for this game, and there is no evidence that Vapour 2 ever progressed beyond Greenlight. The sole DLC — a soundtrack — was released on September 1, 2015, and no unreleased DLC is listed. The developer has had no communication of any kind since October 31, 2016, far beyond any reasonable update window. The game appears to have been completed and quietly concluded, with no further content planned or delivered.
