Husbandry launched on September 1, 2020 and received a handful of feature patches in the weeks following release (versions 1.1 through 1.4), the last of which shipped on September 27, 2020. After that, developer activity on this game stopped entirely. The most recent communication from the developer, posted on July 31, 2024, was an announcement for a brand-new game called LocoPets — confirming the developer has moved on to a new project. No future content for Husbandry has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists, and the store description contains no indication of ongoing development. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained product and has been in that state since late September 2020.
