Evaluation

Idle Boss Rush launched on September 29, 2025 and has received a steady stream of updates since then. Three major content updates have shipped post-launch: Update 1.1 (October 12, 2025) added boss level scaling and new skill tree nodes; Update 1.2 (February 28, 2026) added a new boss rush mode, leaderboards, and a new item collection; and Update 1.3 (April 20, 2026) added a new structure, a new unit (Ice Giant), a new Boss Rush mode, and localization for five languages. Between these, the developer also shipped several smaller feature and bug-fix patches in the weeks following launch. On January 23, 2026, the developer published a roadmap post acknowledging that real-life circumstances had caused a slowdown and some communication gaps, but explicitly stated they are "back to consistently working on new updates" and shared a schedule for upcoming releases. The subsequent shipping of Update 1.2 (February 2026) and Update 1.3 (April 2026) confirms the developer followed through on that commitment. This establishes a sustained pattern of major updates roughly every 2–3 months since launch, with the most recent major release on April 20, 2026 — approximately two months before today's date of June 18, 2026. That places the game comfortably within its established update window, and the developer has not announced that content development is winding down.
