Ikaruga is a port to Steam of TREASURE's classic arcade/console shoot 'em up, released on February 18, 2014. All developer activity was concentrated in the first six months after launch: a handful of bug fix and stability patches in February and March 2014, followed by two feature patches (DirectInput controller support in May 2014, and an APPENDIX menu with a gallery and soundtrack mode on August 13, 2014). There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 13, 2014 — over eleven years ago. The store description describes a fully featured, self-contained game with 5 levels, multiple difficulty settings, two game modes, and local co-op. No DLC has ever been listed, no expansions or future content were ever announced, and no roadmap was published. The game launched as a complete, finished product and the post-launch patches simply addressed PC port compatibility issues and added minor bonus content. With no outstanding commitments and no update activity in over a decade, the game is complete.
