Immortal Empire launched on December 3, 2015 as a free-to-play multiplayer tactics RPG. The game received a feature patch on April 27, 2016 (version 2.2.0, adding gambling and stash systems) and five DLC packs between April 29 and May 6, 2016 — all of which have been released. After that initial burst of activity in mid-2016, development-relevant posts dried up completely. The studio's last two development-relevant communications — a July 2020 announcement and a July 27, 2021 post — were both about an entirely different game, Claire de Lune, using the Immortal Empire store page only to announce a sale. Neither post mentions any new content, updates, or future plans for Immortal Empire itself. With all DLC shipped, no unreleased content listed, no developer statements about future updates, and the studio's apparent focus having shifted to a different title by 2020–2021, the game appears to have been complete since its last DLC shipped in May 2016.
