Pit People®

Pit People launched out of Early Access on March 2, 2018, and received its final major content update — Update 7: Pitlicious — on October 29, 2018. This update added new city quest lines, world map content, new unlocks, and achievements. A hotfix (7a) followed on December 11, 2018, and a balance patch (7b) shipped on June 24, 2019. No developer communication about Pit People-specific content has appeared since June 24, 2019. The game has three major content releases across its lifetime, all clustered around 2018, with no subsequent major updates in over six years. The Behemoth's more recent studio-wide communications — including sale announcements in February and March 2025 — mention Pit People only in the context of discounts, with no mention of planned updates or new content for the game. The studio's focus has clearly shifted to other titles (Castle Crashers DLC, BattleBlock Theater updates, BEHEMOTH, and Alien Hominid releases). No unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and the store description makes no reference to upcoming content. The game launched as a complete package and its post-launch update cycle concluded by mid-2019.
