Evaluation
Industry Empire launched on July 30, 2014 and received two patches in the months following release. Patch 1.01 shipped on August 26, 2014 with new automation features and bug fixes. The developer then teased upcoming warehouse and trading post features across three blog posts in early December 2014, all of which were delivered in Patch 1.2 on December 17, 2014. That patch — the only major content update in the game's history — added the warehouse building, the Trading Post upgrade, an open market system, and a building performance overview window. There have been no developer communications of any kind since December 17, 2014. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap or future content was announced, and the store description contains no indication of ongoing updates. The game launched as a largely complete product and received one substantive post-launch content patch before development activity ceased entirely.
