Infinite Tao

Infinite Tao launched on May 8, 2023. On that same day, the developer posted a release notice stating the game was "fully released" and that they would "continue to update" — indicating a commitment to post-launch support. True to that, the developer was very active in the months following launch, shipping a steady stream of feature patches that added new characters, magic treasures, synergies, environments, and gameplay systems. The last of these updates was on August 25, 2023, which redesigned the Chaos Ocean environment and added a new enemy type. There is one named major content release on record (the Chaos Ocean level and its BGM, added in January 2023 during pre-release development). Since August 25, 2023, there have been no further posts, patches, or announcements from the developer. The earlier statement about continuing to update described a general intention, not a specific roadmap of promised deliverables, and no unshipped DLC or named future content was ever announced. The update activity tapered off and ceased entirely after August 2023, with no communication from the developer since that date. There is no announced future content, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no roadmap pointing to upcoming releases. The game appears to have reached its final state as of the August 25, 2023 patch.
