Into the Radius VR (the original game) has reached the end of its development lifecycle, as explicitly confirmed by the developer on multiple occasions. In May 2023, the team announced that Updates 2.7 and 2.8 would mark the official end of development, with only minor bug fixes to follow. Update 2.7 shipped on September 28, 2023, adding new weapons, collectibles, and story refinements. In November 2023, the developer followed up with a second announcement cancelling the previously planned Update 2.8 (mod support), stating that Update 2.7 was the final major update and that the game would only receive bug fixes and minor tweaks going forward. The team explained that their resources were being directed toward Into the Radius 2, which launched into Early Access in July 2024. In August 2025, the studio rebranded from CM Games to CM IMMERSIVE but confirmed the IP and game remain fully theirs — this was a structural change, not a development announcement for the original game. The sole released DLC is the Supporter Pack (December 2022), a cosmetic pack. No new content has been announced or hinted at for the original game since the November 2023 cancellation post. The game launched as a complete, feature-rich VR survival experience and received years of post-launch updates before the developer formally concluded development.

Explore miles and miles of forests, swamps, and crumbling industrial ruins. But be careful: the Radius is filled with deadly anomalies dealing damage to anyone foolish or daring enough to get close.

The place is swarming with hostile creatures — Fragments, Mimics, and more are roaming around 24/7 and will take every chance to let you know you are not welcome.

COLLECT AND FIRE REALISTIC GUNS

Into the Radius features a stunning variety of classic and modern firearms like the AKM Kalashnikov, PM, SKS Carbine, M9 Beretta, PPSh, FN SCAR, and many more with matching ammo. Realistic interaction, manual magazine loading with different ammo types, and weapon attachments.

Take care of your weapons — if they take damage or their condition deteriorates, they will begin to jam. Be sure to switch off the safety before you start firing! Realistic bullet physics causes ricochets, and bullets can penetrate different materials.

SURVIVE

Your only means of survival is to sneak around with your detector, hunt for artifacts, and complete the missions assigned via the vintage UNPSC desktop at the base. Your trusty friends in the Radius Zone are stealth, silence, and planning.
