Ironlights

Ironlights launched on April 9, 2020 and has received three confirmed major content updates in the news data: the Scythe Update (July 19, 2020), the Ultimate Update (April 8, 2021), and the Gauntlet Update (July 18, 2024). A previous evaluation also noted a fourth major update (the Armory Update, November 9, 2021) not returned in the current scan. The most recent update on record is the Gauntlet Update of July 18, 2024, which added an Endless Gauntlet mode and 60 new cosmetic items. The developer explicitly noted in that post: "Over 4 years post-launch, and new updates are still coming!" — a clear signal of continued commitment. The major updates arrived in an uneven pattern: two in 2020–2021, one in late 2021, then a long gap before July 2024. The gap between the November 2021 update and the July 2024 update was roughly 32 months, which represents the longest interval in the release history. As of today (October 8, 2026), approximately 27 months have passed since the July 2024 Gauntlet Update. That is within the range of the longest observed gap (32 months), so we cannot conclusively say the developer has stopped — the historical pattern includes long silences followed by new content. No developer statement has announced the end of development, and no new content has been announced either. The game continues to be purchasable with no sign of delisting.
