Evaluation
Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets PROLOGUE is a free standalone prologue released on August 10, 2023. By design, it is a short, self-contained introductory experience meant to lead players into the main game — the store description explicitly frames it as "a short game that serves as an introduction to the story that takes place in the main game." There is no indication of planned updates, additional content, or an ongoing development cycle for the prologue itself. The only post-launch communication was a minor bug fix update on August 18, 2023, and there have been no further developer posts since then. This game launched as a finished product and has been complete since its release date.
Evidence
Store description explicitly describes the game as a short introductory experience leading into the main game, indicating it is a self-contained, finished product by design.
A small bug fix and improvements update was released shortly after launch. This is the only and last developer communication for the game.
