Evaluation
Jackpot Poker by PokerStars is a free-to-play social poker game that launched on Steam on March 20, 2017. The game is structured as an always-on multiplayer service: it hosts hundreds of tables with real players at all times, distributes free chip bonuses every four hours and up to 100 million chips per week, offers purchasable chip bundles, and runs a VIP loyalty program with tiered rewards. These features are not content that gets "completed" — they are the ongoing operational backbone of a live multiplayer game designed to run indefinitely. Developer news from 2017 shows feature updates such as the VIP Elite program and Beach Days promotions, along with routine bug fixes, consistent with a game that was actively managed after launch. While developer communications have not been visible since September 2017, the game remains purchasable and playable on Steam, with its live multiplayer infrastructure still in place. The nature of this product — a continuously operated online poker platform from one of the world's largest poker brands — means it is intended to run as long as the service is maintained, rather than having a defined content completion point.
Evidence
Game is described as a free-to-play multiplayer poker service with hundreds of tables, thousands of daily players, rotating chip bonuses every four hours, weekly chip giveaways, purchasable chip bundles, and a VIP progression system — all indicators of an ongoing live service designed to operate indefinitely.
Developer launched the VIP Elite loyalty program with tiered rewards, larger bonuses, and increased XP for participation — a monetized engagement system consistent with ongoing live service operation.
