JASEM is insanely hard and ridiculously unforgiving low-poly twin-stick arcade blastathon set to an electronic beat and filled with bright explosions and neon effects.

Evaluation

JASEM launched into full release on October 19, 2017, following a period in Early Access. The developer's release post on that date explicitly stated "JASEM is completely and totally released!" and summarized all the content added during Early Access — new levels, a boss, an enemy, a music track, and bug fixes. A handful of small patches followed in the days immediately after launch (localization, bug fixes, minor gameplay tweaks), but the last substantive communication about JASEM itself was in late October 2017. The only DLC ever released was the game's soundtrack, which came out on October 5, 2017, before the full launch. After wrapping up JASEM, the developer moved on to other projects: Save One More (released May 2018) and Katana Kata (entered Early Access January 2020). There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced future content for JASEM, and no post-launch update pattern beyond immediate post-release polish. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and has remained that way.
